This "waggoner" is Fredric... I'm really happy with the way these colors turned out, super bright!

I decided to add a little embellishment to my lovely little couple... Just some decorative and filling stitches...

Square Nine : Nez

This guy is Nez (French for "nose") -- He had a nose here, but in real life his nose (and other parts) are missing. I rescued him from a girl over in Victorian Village that was moving to Europe. She gave him to me for free and I was more than happy to give him a home!

Snail

I decided gnomes need to have some other woodland friends... what's better than a snail, right?

We did it!

It's official... We're hitched! It's been a week now, but Ben and I
tied the knot last Saturday (4.24.10) Just wanted to share!
(Oh, and I figured out how to post multiple photos at once from
my iPhone... yay!)

Toadstools

I've had to put the gnomes on hold for a bit... (I need to get some
more fabric in a larger width...) so I decided to stitch some
toadstool accent squares. You just can't have gnomes without toadstools!

Square Eight : Rolf

This guy has no name... :( He's my newest gnome and I'm at a loss for
a name. I'm thinking maybe Melvin...? Not sure yet. I'm also not
completely wild about the colors of floss I used. I need to make a
trip to JoAnn or Michael's to get some new variety. I tried to do some
different colors here, but they didn't show up so great. Oh well...
next time.

Square Seven : Peter

This is Peter... and his carrot. I can't wait to start piecing these
squares together... It's going to be awhile still, but I'm looking
forward to it anyway.

Square Six : Basil

This is Basil, beloved book buff... (you know Amanda adores
alliteration...) Basil just loves those books!
